Frameless Glass Balustrades

Frameless glass balustrades offer a more modern look, whilst allowing for maximum clear view. This is the best product to use when light is limited around a staircase, as it creates the illusion of space through appearing like suspended glass.

At Aluminium Doctor we are able to install and fix your balustrades in various ways:

Mounted to the floor whereby the glass is supported by stainless steel floor mount brackets with stainless steel cover plates. This type of frameless glass balustrade can be custom made according to specs and allows for a variation of safety glass in different thicknesses. Handrails can also be fitted to this type of balustrade.
Side mounted by adjustable side mount brackets, allowing for a minimalist look and feel. This type of balustrade allows for different thicknesses of safety glass, and is built to spec. Handrails can also be fitted to this type of balustrade.
Recessed into the floor for the cleanest most modern feel. This solution requires a recess to be created below the floor surface, for the glass to be slotted in before being secured. With this product you do not see clasps, brackets or uprights.

Aluminium Balustrades

Aluminium Doctor can manufacture and install aluminium balustrades, most often clients prefer these to have vertical bars. We do offer the option of adding glass panels in between the vertical bars, which can be tinted. The aluminium bars can be manufactured in various powder-coated colours. Aluminium balustrades are resistant to corrosion. We make use of the New York Balustrade system.
